Post subject:  found in 90 talon...what is this????

ASthe title say, found this in an Eagle Talon Tsi AWD.

This is the LCD Display screen that was mounted behind a piece of shade plastic in the dash. Has a CAT% plug in the back of it that plugs into the brain modle as you can see in the pic below it Image Image This is the brain for it. you can see where to plugs go into it where the power and groud wires are, some wires labeled for a/f, knock, temperature and a few other things. A wire leads to a toggle switch and a LED light that was mounted to the right of the steering wheel And also has a plug for what looks like a data logging cable. And a place for a vacuum line to go in. Image Image Image any thoughts or answers would be appreciated. thanks assfaces :waisted:

Looks like a Megasquirt, but built by a DSM owner.

leaning towards a megasquirt.... the guy i got the car from bought it off a friend for a parts car (which it ran)...he said the lcd screen would read diagnostics such as those probably labeled on the wires of the harness. the DB9 input on the box leads me towards thinking that was an input for either a data logger or something. might email what i have (pics) etc to diyautotune.com and see if its one of their kits/models

DSMlink

I'd bet money it's a squirt - look at the clues:

- it's obviously home made
- it has an on board MAP sensor
- it has a serial port
- it appears to function as/in parallel with/in place of an ECU

Airbrush could be right too, but I don't know what a DSMlink looks like (were you making an FMlink reference? lol)
