I would do a triangulated bar ..... like the EM style ... the reason they do this is to add rigidity. Its kinda like cardboard ... how it has all those triangles if you look at a profile view of it real close. You COULD get real gangsta and do a floor bar then triangulate it up to the shock tower ..... either way ... good luck and post some pics .... although, by the time i actually replied to this thread, its probably already been made one way or the other ahahah ..... bringin it back from the dead :twisted:
