I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Yeah I really want to get into autocrossing, but with the swap in my Civic I think I'd be in street mod as well. How did you do with your crx? I think I need to beef up my brakes and sus, but even then I don't know if I'd be competitive. I was thinking about starting over with something that would keep me in a lower class for a while.
Don't worry about being competitive, if you are just starting out you won't be competitive at first anyway. Go out with the swapped civic, you'll have fun, which is the whole point.
I did okay with the CRX. A good set of tires helps a lot when you're up against an FD and a bunch of turbo miatas in a NA CRX. I hope to practice autocrossing the miata in CSP before making the jump to SM2.

I'd rather not have to get a seperate set of tires just for autox. Would some 205 Falken Azenis be decent or are most people running supper wide Hoosiers like on your Miata? What are the tire limitations in Street Mod? If that's what I'd be in... Maybe you have a link that could answer some of my hundreds of questions
