Ok first off i am a total newb with suspention parts. Look i cant even spell it right. OK for the last month or so my cars front suspenion has been acting werd. I think its the ball joints but i could be wrong. When i hit the accel its like the whole front end shifts to the right and then when i let off it goes back into place. Also it has fucked up my 2 month old tire, which i waited to long to take off and put the steelies back on. But the thing is i dont really know where the ball joints are. I think that they are the ones cirlced in red but, i was also thinking it was the things in yellow?
Image OK so if you guys think that its the balljoints are they hard to take out and replace or do you think i should bring it in to a place and get them done? also are they expensive?

Here is what it has been doing to my tires. Can you tell which was on the back and which was on the front? ha i can

Ball joints are cheap. I think mine was like 10$ from napa, or less. You'll want to take it someplace that has a press though.

You can do it yourself if you have the right tools. They're a bitch, though. Best to take it somewhere. They'll get it done in half the time you will.

the ball joints COULD be the culprit but that one did not look damaged, do me a favor and take a pic of the outer tie rod end on that side (the "ball joint that comes offa the steering rack).....could be an alignment issue, or numerous other things

Take it to a tire place and describe your problem. We get all kinds of broken tie rod ends, balljoints, wheel bearings, etc. where I work. The mechanics can diagnose the problem more quickly and since you need to have it replaced anyway, you might as well take it in now.

The tire - is the inner part worn totally smooth or does it have a "chop" (where it feels smooth rubbing one direction but rough in the other)?
