I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

SW388 vs WORK Emotion CR's

Post by Hatcher » October 09, 2003

I know it's my car and it doesnt matter what other's think, but maybe you guys can help me make up my mind. I'm trying to decide between getting black/red Mugen RNR's, Spoon 15" SW388, or bronze Work Emotion CR's. I was recently at inlinefour (got a shiftboot, skunk2 shift knob) but I mainly went there to look for some new rims. The guy there told me that the spoon team is using the WORK's lately, do you know if they plan on discontinuing the Spoon's?

My car is going to either be Nissan Frontier gold, or RSX sandstone... so what rim do you think would look best? thanks

Personally I would stay away from bronze if I were doing a goldish car. Would look like too much of one color.

I really like the Works. I was thinking about getting a set of those in the spring.

RnRs are definitely VERY RAD wheels. I also like the spoons. *shrug* Tough decision if you ask me. I'm saying Works in a different color if you're spraying your car gold.

well, spoon has run the work emotion on their track car forever... their own outsourced wheel, the sw388, was mainly for their street cars.... Both the sw388 and RnR have been knocked off to the point of obsurdity, so my vote goes to the works... have you seen the new Kai model (Drifter XL) ? It's a rust color that looks really hot... good luck man... :2:

toda. post a pic of those rust color wheels?

i was going to do RNR's or SW388's but like toda said they are copied to where its annoying and it dont matter if they are real or not. i decided to go with black racing pro n1's on goldy. figured maybe i can start some kinda black racing trend. they are pretty popular. cheap advan rg kinda i guess.
