I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Best Setup for EP?

Post by eviLsliDinciVic » October 20, 2003

What's the best setup for the 03' Civic's? I have no clue yet..I have the Eibach Sportline's but sold them to someone..and not sure if I'll go the route of Springs and Shocks or Tien? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..

I don't know what Knepper has on his car, but the springs had a nice drop and they ride nice (even with strut braces and a rear lower tie) I know he has factory struts still.

I'm just worried something is going to happen if I keep everything stock..I don't know enough about suspension to really know..and a few people I've spoken to alerady said I should upgrade everything if I do that becuz something COULD happen..I mean I don't take corners at 40-50mph or anything but I wouldn't drop my car right before Winter either..I plan on doing this in Spring..so that's why I'm trying to get some opinions..never did anything "mods" wise to any of my cars yet..this is the first taste I get with one..Please be gentle on me!

If your not really into tweaking all the little setting and whatnot, then the Mugen Sporst suspension is the way to go. Don't forget about sway bars either, RSX or CTR sways may be a good starting point.
