I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. just looking on opinions of the brand mainly. i keep seeing that they are knock offs but is that all they are? if so i take it that they are just cheap knock offs that are for the poor in wallet... personnally i dont think they are worth it if they are... id rather pay the 1K for a set of real rims then knock offs. any one else?

Rota = tight budget JDMer.

but i guess if you dont have the money, then they are a quick solution.

It's for people going after the form more so than the function. Rotas are a little heavier than the real deal, but cheaper.

well i have been going to a few forums in the past few days and i ended up posting this in one of them...


imo go big or go home and if you choose to run rotas thats your choice but i think knock-offs of anything is the core of the term RICE...

RICE = cheap and easy mods

a big bag of Rice = a cheap way to have food for the rest of the month

you make the conection lol


it had some thing to do with rotas and stuff thats why im posting it here... and i thought it was funny too

hmmmm....i am just going to say one thiong about this topic and convo.... thats a lot of talk coming from a guy that has APC spark plug wires on his car and talks about spending big cash on premium products....so be careful when you use your own terminology of rice 8)

lol well what can i say the only reason they are even on the car now is its stateside and im in japan otherwise i would have replaced them already
