I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

anyone with fastbrakes upgrades?

Post by problem_si » October 03, 2006

I hear good things about fastbrakes, not to mention they're the only company that I know of that offers 11" rotor kits for all 4 corners on the Ef civic. I'll be buying the kit that uses the 4 piston wilwood calipers... :)

My only problem is...that dreaded wheel fitment issue.

Does anyone have this kit on their EF...if so, do you know what the smallest wheel size/offset that you can use is???

If it helps, I plan on using OEM integra 15" mesh wheels for daily driving, and 15" Enkei Rpf-1's for racedays.

Talk to your parts dealer. If they're selling the product, they should be well-versed in the fitment of each item. If they're no help, e-mail the manufacturer of the kit (not Wilwood obviously). I have a 4-piston Wilwood kit from Peak Performance on my car and I had no problems with install and fitment, also running RPF-1s

Well my car isn't a rps13, so that doesn't help too much.

I was trying to get some non-partisan feedback before I called fastbrakes about the kit.

the 15" rpf1's come in +35mm and +41mm offsets. I know that they fit on the 10.2" rotors I have now. I don't think its a question of rotor size, but more about the caliper sticking out too far.

Nor mine, RS13, no SR20DET. The calipers are very thin, thinner than oem. What you can do is go to Wilwood's site and they have the caliper dimensions. Make yourself a mock caliper (cut it out of paper) and test it on your vehicle. If you don't yet have the wheels, do a bunch of math to come to the same conclusion.

I have yet to find anyone with the calipers on the 11" rotors.

Anywho...how do you like the wilwoods on your nissan?
