Post subject:  Pic Request: 205 40 18 tires
Looking for new tires. Im used to 215 35 18. They look awesome, but are rubber bands (still can tolerate them tho). I just picked up 215 40 18. They ride like a cload!! but are wayy too big for my car. I would like to pick up 215 35 18 again, but i am currently thinking about 205 40 18, and it i think they are the closest to my stock diameter size.

does anyone have a pic of 205 40 18 tires??

im actually just thinking about switching back to 215 35 18 and say fuck it. they arn't that much.

Did you try a tire size calculator? http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

I don't know what your roads are like, but I would like a 40 series more considering more rim protection. punch in your stock size and the 205/40/18 and see what the difference is on OD.
