Goodridge lines

Well as I posted in my 'rides' thread I will be getting all new Brembo calipers next week. So I thought what a great time to flush the brake fluid and put in new as well as upgrade to some SS lines. I need them fast and was going to order some Goodridge lines from JSC Speed because I know it will arrive the next day as I have ordered from them before. But is it worth it? Also I have read mixed reviews on the Goodridge lines. What do you guys think? Thanks!

Stoptech are way better they got the teflon coating on the outside to help with flexing of the line as well as keeping road grime and dirt out of the weave. I went through all this a few years back when i was having trouble stopping my car through the traps. I am sure denis at hybridynamics can get them super quick 724-925-2660.

i heard mixed reviews on them as well, i was going to order endless lines for my car when i was going 5 lug but they were on backorder.

I saw Endless were like $300 bucks and Works (which I read are the best for the EVO) are like $170. I just went with the Goodridge as they were $95 and better than stock even if maybe not the best out there. Also got 3 bottles of Motul RBF600. With stock brakes I am sure these will be more than enough of an upgrade for my DD. Now if I tracked the car I would be more concerned maybe but for now this should do it. Never know....maybe a few years from now I will have some Endless 6 piston fronts and 4 piston rears and then I will have the better lines too.

you should have went with DOT5 fluid, RBF600 is a synthetic fluid and you will find that you will end up needing to replace brake parts faster.

I honestly didnt know. I never did the research on the brake stuff like I did with everything else I have done. This was just a quick decision because I was getting all new calipers and thought now is the time to do the fluid flush and throw on some stainless lines. I bought the lines and fluid from JSC Speed and that is the fluid they recommended so I went with that. Also, a lot of guys on my EVO forum run that with no issues from what I've read. I am a brake fluid/line newb so what do you mean by "you will end up needing to replace brake parts faster"??? What kind of parts? Lines and seals and such? Not sure what you mean there. I have yet to get on the car hard in the twisties as I put it away for the winter. So I will have to wait till spring to see if the lines/fluid make a noticeable difference during PA mountain road flogging.
