I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Post by 98or00gsr » October 01, 2006

can anyone please just give me some ideas or sugestions please.. right now i have a 97 jdm gsr in my 98 coupe.. the list on motor mods is somewhat small but i have an aem cold air intake, apexi header, skunk2 intake manifold, tanabe full exhaust, civic type r ecu, aem clutch, flywheel, ok here is where i need a 2nd opinion some one bought a set of zex stage 2 all motor cams and drove w/ them for a lil while but never raced the car big time, and now he has come across a really good deal on a turbo for his car so he is wanting to trade me my stock gsr cams and 200 $ for his zex stage 2's and i also would get his upgraded valve springs nad retainers.... he will do all the labor... this may b a stupid qiestion but any suggestions willl help thanks....

werd that sounds pretty good for stock cams and you have to do no work.

unless he doesn't know what he's doing and screws your motor up.

I suppose you could do it, if the parts are legit and he knows what he's doing

id probably do it. make sure you inspect the condition of the retainers, cams and springs, i never believe anyone that has a modded car and says they didnt race it.
