| Post subject: | F22 to H22??? |
Some kid in school who thinks he knows what hes talking about told me that rather than doing a total motor swap to just run an h22 head concidering i already have an f22, he then said all id have to do is run a different pkit and a vtec sensor. but the more i thought about it i figured if this was even possible id need a h22 ecu,,,,, will this even work, if so where should i start ??? |

I suppose you are referring to the dohc F block and not the sohc block. If that's the case I've never heard of such an animal since they're two different blocks. I have heard of people putting H intake manifolds on F motors, though. Anyways, how about you tell us what specific F22 is in your Accord? SOHC? Vtec? etc. I'll probably still say H22 if you have the money and resources. Fill us in, though. I've never heard anything good about the F22, however. |

Yeah, alot of people put the intake manifolds from h23's onto f22a1/b1 motors, its a dyno proven 5-10whp gain. Not bad at all. I've got one FS right now if anyone in here wants one! |
