No. Not heat it and pound it. Burn it out, but watch when the grease gets hot. You'll get some fire.

well i bought a pickle bar today $9.99 at cut rate auto parts, tried that approach for 10 - 15 minutes then decided fuck it, i gotta replace that lower ball joint ne way cuz it's mushroomed out way beyond re tapping and dying so i went out and bought 2 metal blades for my sawsal or reciprocating saw what ever u wanna call it and cut the fucker off. Now the axles are completely out there is a big ass floor jack under the tranny and another smaller floor jack under neith the oil pan with a 2x4 centered on it to equally distribute the weight of the motor and there is only 2 little tranny mounts left that are holding the bish in and it will be officially pulled tomorrow more then likely! and it's about damn time! now the fun part, adding everything for the manual swap

y don't you shoot yourself bish, we tried everything in the friggin book and everything anybody knew about this shit and cutting was the last result and i don't give a flippity SHWACK, cuz it's out now. Nice teg BTW, i just saw your post on it
