OK, the D16Y8 that came with the car had some bottom end problems that i didnt know about when i bought it (the guy loaded it w/ LUCAS). As for the parts, im doing the best i can, i make 6.00$ an hour, i really am trying, that lip kit will be gone soon, i know it looks cheesy and fake, im going to be getting a real one and the front bumper and lip are gonna be repainted together. The advan stickers are coming off, and the 2 under the mirror are coming off. I plan on getting some titanium colored 16's this winter to put on next summer. I am getting a 99-00 Civic sedan rear bumper because if you look at mine, the bottom of the bumper curls in and doesn't curl back out, it looks ugly, the 99-00 curls back out to make it look like it has a lip kit IN A WAY. I am also looking to get different tailights, i dont know what taillights are JDM for the 4-door of my year. Also... the wing, i know its fake, but remember 6.00$ an hour... Im only 17. I plan on getting the SIDES of the wing painted white to match the car, so basically, it will look similar to an EVO spoiler. The Si-R badge is being removed to. I went aimlessly into this project before really knowing what JDM really was. I just ordered a Ferio badge from PasswordJDM. I am also having the side skirts repainted to match the car, because everything you see on the car, the grill, lip, skirts, sad to say are spray painted. I really want to make more money but its so hard where i live. So, hopefully next summer, HOPEFULLY, god permitting, the car will look much different, i am also looking into getting different fenders, the owner of the car before me put the side markers on crooked... Oh yeah munster, i meet you down at Carlisle this year, you have the Turbo EK hatch. We were talking to you for like an hour. I was with the one kid Tim that rebuilt the LS and put it into the bubble, I was the big one... LOL i gotta shirt also from BUILT.

Ohh yeah, the only EBAY thing on the car is the Black housing headlights, i don't really care what people think about those, i LOVE the black housings. Every other little part like the front lip and the grill i bought down at Carlisle.

Glad to hear you are going to change that lip and a couple other things. It started looking more ricer than JDM to me. Good luck on the rest of the build.

About that $6 an hour thing, I understand. I am 16 and make 6.75 and I dont have much money left over for any mods. Most of my money goes to pay the the car payment and insurence. So I guess one could say we are in the same boat.

I was going to say (please, no offense intended) it looks like a JDM ricer.
Just mostly cheesy looking cliche appearance mods.

but, you're plans sound good. can't wait to see it cleaned up and when you get a good hold of it! good luck man!
