I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

First off...let me say "damn!" Clean EG man. I was taking a look at those pics, and noticed the Mugen Active Gate Brakes!! Am I safe to assume that you just had the rotors redrilled with the right bolt pattern?

Again looks great!

Good eye dude, I never even thought to check the bolt pattern when I was looking for those brakes. I would assume drilling new holes would make them much weaker.

Nah the 240 guys do this with the 300ZX brakes as well. The ones that don't do a 5 lug conversion, obviously, such as this EG.

Yea I spose its probobly fine for street driving... I wouldnt drill into my rotors if i was doing some serious track racing where on your on the track for a long time with heavy braking, ive seen/heard about too many cross-drilled rotors shattering.. i can see the same thing happening with 9 hole rotors :)

You wouldn't actually have 9 holes, just a few would be looking like 8's. And as far as track racing with them...it's not the same as the braking surface being drilled. My friend riot with S-13 conversion, SR swap, and redrilled 300ZX rotors, races at the PCA events down in South Padre, and auto crosses as well. Needless to say, he has no issues. Here is a pic :
