I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

it does but they dont fit anything but steelies and im almost positive they are for 13" rims only. either way want to restore the rims for later so imma keep the caps.

alittle progress. iphone pic since i didnt have the camera on me at the time. i need to just dive in and start taking care of this thing but ive been really lazy due to the high heat during the day.
i need to figure out how to fix that hole and ill be doing some more sanding and respraying to try and even it out better.

for those wondering whats been going on with this thing. i havent really done much cause there has been a snag in the registration. until i get that taken care of i havent been really doing anything to the car. one of the things i have been doing off and on is restoreing the tail lights.
the one on the left i tried more of a metallic grey which didnt do much and the one on the right is the fully restored center garnish. I used VSM for the inner silver on this one and used a black bumper restoration paint for the trim.
these are the before paint pics of one of the tail lights and what i painted so far. i painted the part that was all black silver but im not sure if i want to keep it that way yet.

well apparently i had nothing to worry about with the registration of the car. i was mis informed and the facts were not layed out properly with the car and its registration issues. i was thinking i was gonna have to pay 1k to get a $500 car registered but it was only $125.
im stoked that thats over with so ive been diving into taking the car apart but i ran into a snag. im completely broke to the point i dont have the gas to get over to my cousins house to work on the car. still cant get a job for the life of me either.
the lights that were still on the car worked when i decided last minute to test the lights by plugging in the battery. something i should have done before i took off all the lights btw. Horn blows but the driver doesnt. the A/C fan doesnt kick in at lvl 1 but lvl 2 and 3 it does. my cigerette lighter works too haha.
if you look at some of the pictures the rear bumper is kinda off kilter and had a nice rivit on the driver side keeping it up so i took it off. took off the 87's rear bumper since i will be useing it instead on the 84. it just needs to have the color stripped and new color added.

Just got an oem rear spoiler and some japanese corner lights. Still dont have the car running yet lol
