its all just regular paint, with like 9 coats of clear. we painted a few other valve covers with regulat and never had any paint melt off yet. it holds up pretty good.

kotomile- that valve cover was a last minute decesion before the sure, the fastory one was all chipped up so i was just gonna order a new one then we decided to just do something differant.
