I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

It's not, get dry ice, wait, remove chunks, get the tar remover like Banzai, clean up. I did my first 240 with the screwdriver method, I didn't like the scrapes and shit, so I'll stick with the dry ice method. If you get too crazy you'll gouge up the metal, and that's not cool. That way it doesn't look like shit before it's repainted.

but seriously. By the time I would have driven to the bank, got money, found a place that had dry ice, bought it, put the chunks on the car, waited, and then chipped away, I would have been done with my method. It really didnt take that long. Its the process of getting the tar off thats a fucking joke. Plus, I sanded down the parts I've finished and the scratches are now flush and who cares its getting painted :)

Right, I agree with you there. It's just my intention to advise people who don't intend to repaint, thus needing different planning for a different result.

:-( I don't want to pretend like I know better, it's just that we're able to share ideas and techniques that could have cleaner results requiring less work after the tar is removed.
