I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

^ you'd have the same problem with the IC in the mouth too, only now the bottom of the rad is exposed, whereas before any air that was to get to the rad had to go through the IC first.

What about heat soak from the radiator since they're so close?

hmm, maybe, but anytime the fan is on or the car is moving the air will be going through the ic first.

d3viant wrote:wouldn't you have a problem with coolant temperatures? I mean the air coming off the back of the intercooler is gonna be relatively hot and the hot air is going to pass through the radiator? I dunno if this means anything just thought i'd point it out so you had an outside opinion.
I know when i went from a 2" thick fmic to my precision 3.5" thick fmic i had trouble with temperatures rising and the intercooler wasnt "stacked" like this setup is, a fluidyne then solved the problem. I think heatsoaking would be an issue as well, but i am curious to see how this setup works. Keep us posted. 8)
