Bad day at the track, my 60' dropped .2 (2.0) as a result of stickier tires and better launching. Lost 4 MPH in the 1/8th and 2 in the 1/4, Times were similar ranging from 13.4-13.6

Just didn't seem to have the guts. Air fuel was in the 13-13.5 area, ect was 170 deg, IAT was 80 deg. EGT was not monitored but it always seems to run cool except while cruising on highway it reaches 1350 max

really? i thought mid high 12's was optimum for power making regardless of the induction ...

i guess that's why i don't tune anyone's car haha

I like 13-13.5 for n/a and 11.5-12.1 for boost in boost.
Not that I am a pro by any means, but high 12's for boost is not what I would recommend. It really depends on the setup and how the engine reacts where it will make most power. There are a lot of "general" rules, its all an educated guess until you get on a dyno.

i wouldn't rock high 12's either because the detonation threshold becomes too small - that's not what i meant by my post.

i just mean in theory, i was under the understanding that the most power is made at the mid 12 area.

I was just pretty sure i heard dude at godspeed say it, and i thought i read it a few times on h-t as well.

it's not a big deal regardless actually - just opened my mouth without any hands-on knowledge ... i'm good for that

I'd blow a car up in a second if i had to tune one - i don't even have the desire to try it. i'm too dumb. hah

what tire pressure did you run dan? you can probably pick up your mph by adding a bit. just gotta dick with it and find that happy medium where you're not killing your top end, but still have good traction.
