I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

77's non-build

Post by 77 » May 29, 2011

I have solved my brakes issue. Seller didn't mention he has to remove the calipers from his car first, but it is what it is. Now I can one billion percent focus on making the engine make engine noises.

Yup, let me know if you know anyone who would buy the Wilwoods. Pretty sure the Dynalites are still used in Honda applications.

Caliper is $120 new, plus pads($44) and lines($60). Bracket is probably useless considering there isn't an off-the-shelf simple rotor to use and the worthless rotors I received in the kit are, worthless.
Try for $250.

Yeah, Hondas can run out and get the typical rotor for cheapish and buy or fab whatever the bracket for their kit should be. I just have no use for them and would be pleased to never see that headache situation again.

Hmm, brake "uprage"...
I must have had those feelings to have two sets of brakes for a car who's only problem is that it won't move.
