I believe it's like having a set of gauges, but you toggle through them on the screen instead of having a tangible set of gauges in your dash. HKS makes it I believe.

Aye, readout of a few things, a little bit of datalogging, warning alarms, friction calculator, and a few other random things. It wires into the ECU.
