I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

After all this time.... Zero's build BEGINS!!!!

build threads. post pics & specs & brag about your ride.

this is going to be a long post as im posting many pictures. first and foremost let me explain what has happened to my car in the last few days. it has been confirmed it was the inner CV joint on my passengerside axel that is going bad. also found out my rear pads were going bad and my oil leak could be from the oil pan gasket, oil filter, or my rear main seal or even from all three... my polyurithane mounts i had installed on the trailing arms of my rear disks were starting to pop out >_< and my car has been haveing a hard time starting. now on to what i did. here is a picture of my dirty asss undercarrage...
Image after i took this i started my 5 hour mechanic session with my car. as you can see the broken axel has not been replaced as of yet... til this picture a hour or so later...

New Axel Image OLD Axel Image now this is where it gets shitty while i was trying to figure out how to set this axel as it wouldnt go in at all the way i was trying to do it i ended up squashing the bolt that sits under the disks that holds the disk on... now i tried re treading it and fileing new threads on with no success. after 45 minutes i realised i could do this and it wont matter...
Image So i ground down the area around where the codder pin was located to the point where i could thread the nut onto the good threads and that solved my problem. finnally here is a picture of my old and new rear brake pads together...
Image i havent as of yet done anything to fix the oil problem and i wont til i get paid on the 15th so thats just gonna have to wait. im just completely broke until then thanks to this >_<

oh and i used a screwdriver to pop the poly back into place... i also decided to put my TE37s on the rear cause they have new tires that way i can see how shitty my alignment has gotten

if your looking at what i think your looking at thats just the dust shroud that got all dinged up... i do how ever think i need new rotors up front cause when i brake hard the steering wheel shakes so i might have a rotor thats alittle warped or even both for that matter...

the bolt itself holds the arms that attacthes to the steering and the camper and all that which holds the disk and brake setup... so with out that bolt the wheel could have slid from under the car snapping the axel and everything under while the rim was still attached... not a pretty sight if you ask me lol

forgot to post this picture of me getting ready for the autox tomorrow...
Image and here are some more pics of that process and ill post the finished product later... prolly after the autox... i put the stock bumper back on as the last time i did this event here onbase i ended up cracking the paint alittle as i hit a cone and the bumper doesnt really have any support behind it >_< ... that and i know the wing looks wierd as hell with the stock front bumper on and no lip so that came off too...

the beam has been damaged twice once thanks to me and another thanks to mom -_-
Image old bumper getting ready to be put on... the paint missing on the right was me and the big indention on the left was mom... and yes im useing the Si center grille...
Image the Airwalker off and chillin until i pull the Si grille off... and just for those that might have thought my shit is fake here is also a picture reminder that my shits real...
Image Image ^^ unfortunately if you cant see the AW sticker then i dont know what to tell you as its the only blue on that bumper lol

you can also see the white cracks where the bumper has hit the ground or a parking curb... and another reason i took it off as i didnt want the cracks to get any bigger then they already are...
