I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain
BB4 (Prelude)
Nice, nice.
Seeing as how I had to take my sister places sometimes for my parents (she's 6 and still has to have a carseat in the back by law) I had my passenger rear seat out and all my trunk out... With my exhaust stopping right where this stuff was taken out (right where the back seat and trunk meet) it SUCKED noise wise. Looks good IMO, I'd just sand it down or w/e and rattlecan the stuff you took out.

I am really liking the car I have always loved this body style and the fact that it is so clean and is stock wheels and all
I was going to buy a red one before I bought my civic but it was a stick and the guy said he would teach me tried taking me out on a main highway and all. After I left there that is when I saw my black civic saw it was an automatic and got it but I have always liked the preludes they are classy

wont have the stock wheels much longer but i like the Si wheels also. mine need to be sand blasted/cleared but i plan on keeping them just for a spare set so will do it eventually. also have one thats a little bent, not noticable when driving but when its on a balancer you can see a verrrry little bit of a hobble to it (i worked at DunnTire so i used to do all my rotations, balancing, etc.)...
Hopefully ording goodies (aka. wheels/lugs/suspension/rear lower tie bar/oil cap) by this weekend though so def looking forward to spring/summer now

93 Prelude Si H23 VTEC
Update.
Didnt win the consoles, had a set limit and wasnt gonna pay near what a new one cost so now im just gonna buy the front section off majestic Honda along with a couple misc parts i need for my H23 vtec build, also found some stuf i need on HT forums so the VTEC build is looking up
Also got some black automotive carpet and did a custom job on the interior this week, doing the rear section tomarrow so will update with pics tomarrow. Not pro but i like the results and it looks clean.
This week agenda-
H22 Head Dipped
H23 Tear Down
Order Parts
Finish Interior
Found out i dont get my check til the 29th so wheels are waiting til end of the month but will be on for spring. Suspension is also being put off til late srping(will be on before carlisle hopefully) to do the H23 VTEC build.

Interior is 99% done. Gonna wait on doing the front section and strip the car next year when it wont be a DD stil. Just need to redo that center console trim black and interior should be good for spring. either way focus is on the engine build now. decided to throw the seats back in and finished the carpet today along with redoing the center console armrest to black carpet. Left the support bracket out as i've heard it doesnt give much support anyways but allows more room for stuf when the back seat is folded down( aka golf clubs, lol). Also have a rear strut bar and will have the tanabe lower brace by spring so not worried about any kind of loss in structural integrity.
Also working on the Engine tonight cleaning all the misc parts and hopefully getting the engine dipped on weds considering i have no class. starting tear down of H23 when parts come in.
Pics of the interior 99% finished. Want new seats now though :p
and yes that little tray infront of the console is a shade of blue, honda could only get a blue one for some reason so time for the rattle can when it warms up unless i can get a black lid for it which i hear is out there, doubt it can be ordered though if i cant even order they tray in black

maybe if i gave it another year or so the gray would have been black anyways;) i just hated the burns on the driver side from the last kid who smoked in itboostjunkie95 wrote:New carpeting and arm rest looks great, diggin the black way better then the gray.
either way the whole interior cost about 35-40$ to do. 6'x3' carpet rolls were only 7$(3) and the spray adhesive was the most expensive at 10$ for the can. well worth it
That new carpet looks badass dude! Man that looks good...
Mine apparently leaks water in both floorboards (they were SOAKED last night, for no reason-no rain or anything...) and tonight I dropped my car off at the glass place to get them to fix my window that they messed up (again), both my backseats were SOAKED. So I'm going to be gutting mine when i get it back to let all that crap dry out...
So does the rear seat support bracket (that goes all the way across the back seats part of the car) can be taken out without problems?
