I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

well I was going to get a 4" k&n, the problem is the space. I'm gonna end up removing that filter and getting a piece of 4" pipe with a 45 on it to mount the filter to the inlet on the turbo. There is really no other way to do it. And to use jason's k&n I'd have to hunt down some sort of transition. I dunno yet.

go get jason's k&n.

ask 30 stones what happened to his 2871r when he bought a cheapo filter at carlisle 2 years ago.... sucked the plastic from the tip of the filter, chewed up his fins. Didn't even realize it until he took it off to sell it. Ended up selling a 1000 dollar turbo that goes for ~700 used for like 300 bucks.

Just remember that your setup is only as strong as your weakest link. Trust me on that one hah

yeah get something good throw that apc one in the trash. the one i bought the filter itself was glued to the coupler and from it getting hot it melted the glue and fell off. fucked up the fins lost my ass on it just cuz i bought a shitty filter.

haha no not at all, you're not on the hook haha.

I did leak a little bit of oil at the turbo in-let feed. so I need to fix that before anything else. I drove the car up and down the street, FTW!!! :D
