I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Not tryin to thread jack, but since tenchu mentioned renting a ferrari...

check out this site http://www.daydreaminexotics.com/index.php

They work out of the flamingo hotel and casino. Its a 3 hour tour and you get to drive 5 exotic cars. A buddy and i were gonna do it but they had already done the tour for the day and our flight was leaving too early the next. Looks sweet though.

well im back in Texas as of the 2nd of April. had a pretty easy trip and made it in roughly a day and a half. the car was so loaded down that the rear camber was pretty bad. i tried raising the rear to get it correct itself but that didnt do much at all so mid way between Dallas and Houston i pulled over for a piss, noticed the rear tires were showing thread, and changed the front tires with the rear.

gas mileage was all over during the trip. got as low as 22mpg and as high as 34mpg. stop and go city traffic played a role on the lower mpg and climate changes helped with the higher mpg. wasnt as consistant as the D series and no where near as high, got 40 mpg a few times with the D series on the same trip, BUT i got above 30mpg more then once so IMHO that was great.

i tell you what im glad as hell that i learned my lesson from the same trip last year. i visited right before my deployment last year and on the way back the rear tires were done and i didnt have a jack so i could switch the fronts and the backs OR any spare tires. this time i took my floor jack and another TE37 and im glad i only had to use the floor jack.

on that note i swapped the 15x7s with 205/55s back to the front and took out the other TE37s with the 195/50s and dropped the rear 1/2 an inch but with them on the car looks high as fuck in the rear end. even though im not slammed i scrape the Spoon tie bar all over the place and i really need to change out the front endlinks as they are completely DONE and do nothing but squeak cause there is no grease in them what so ever by now.

Hahaha, I miss that mpg too. I just found out today, that my ex who I was letting borrow my Civic blew the engine and junked it without me even knowing. So much for fixing that up for a DD. The GC only gets like 150mi to a tank on a good tank.

new updates.

went and got a new catalitic converter installed with the proper header flange and all that.
Image Image it runs so much smoother and its alittle more quiet. i actually think its sounds better too.

i also went and bought another 10" JL sub but it turns out that i had my setup connected wrong. the JL i bought is rated at 200 watts and was a single voice coil but the speaker i had was a 300 watt dual voice Audiobahn.

apparently the sub was wired in a series so i changed it to parallel. then i found out that this whole time ive had the sub wired up backwards... WTF... :cussing: so... in an effort to match the ohms the speaker was at with the amp i reconnected the speaker to the amp so it wasnt bridged anymore and was running on a single channel. now everything is running on 2 ohms and it sounds freaking awesome.

so yeah im now have an extra sub that i didnt need.... fun times :guns:
