well its official, as of yesterday May 2 2012 the WRX is officially GONE.

the new daily for me is now a 2010 VW Jetta TDI.
drove 2.5+ hours to get the car from a certified vw/audi dealer in WV took over 1/2 (almost 3/4) tank of gas in the WRX to drive there. spent the day there checking out the car and learning the features and a few hours later i was sipping fuel on the way home in my new TDI. on the 120+ mile drive home the TDI didn't even use an 1/8th of a tank! it was pretty unbelievable.

so yeah this page will now be saved for my TDI daily driver build. i won't be doing anything crazy to the car but i deff want to "make it mine" need to get peoples heads turning a little bit at least

A good friend of mine has a white 2010 Jetta TDI, he averages 49-51mpg with that thing. Lots of tq for hill climbing as well!

the chrome trim "auto script"


or the non chrome "auto insignia"


i like the chrome trim but they don't make the "auto insignia" switch with chrome trim, I'm not sure why. everything in the VW has some chrome hits on it and most if not all of the switches in the car are all labeled with insignia's instead of text.

if i do happen to go with the chrome trim switch i would like to also pick up these...

I like the chrome trim personally...

But lets discuss a bigger mod...air ride suspension plus a wheel setup with good poke! What do you have in mind?! Haha

haha, well i stumbled across some pics of both of those mentioned switches lit up at night and i must say the "auto script" is way more appealing, so i guess I'm going with the chrome auto script switch haha.

as far as suspension, since the car is my daily. my only game plan is a good set of coil overs and some raderwerks.

just purchased my first part for the tdi this past weekend. nothing fancy but deff something i been eye'n up since i got the car.
picked up the aspherical "blue" side mirrors.
