yea, I gave myself a million points for doing this. Biggest pain in the ass ever. But I'm almost done...and next week (after eibach unfortunatly), I'll be driving to Santa Barbara to spray it FBP in my friends garage Heres some crappy pics of the process, didn't do a how-to because there's so many already got the rears done last night
Then today I started removing the leftover tar out of the trunk
So i got about two sections left
I'm using PB Blaster to soften the tar. It doesn't work too well, but its all I had lying around. And I literally have no money so I couldnt go buy adhesive remover or anything...
I dont have any before pics, but there pretty easy to find.So far I have about 6-7 hours invested in it. I think I gotta another 2 or so...and then time for paint. Im guessing with paint in total 15 hours. |

nope, no dry ice for me. I did it gangster with a hammer and a flathead screwdriver. In2Deep - Honda lays sound deadening tar in the front, rear, and trunk from the factory to reduce road noise. I cracked all that tar off and now I'm getting rid of the remains to eventually paint it. I've been gutted for a couple years now (no rears/trunk). Ecept now that it will be painted, I wont have any plastic rear panels either The chipped tar weighed in at about 12 lbs. |

Unless dry ice helps reduce the amount of tar leftover, then it really is a waste of money. Taking the actual chunks out was pretty easy, I did the whole care in like under 2 hours |
