Generally as long as any good Honda engine. With boost, generally 100k miles @ 12 psi is the norm. Both the B6 and BP are about the same strength. Why do you ask? |

cause i found a boosted 91 brg with 194k on the clock and was wondering when it was going to blow, and was just thinking of replacement motors when it does set a piston through the block |

Most of the time Miata engines die by just losing compression (rings) and die slowly. A compression check will tell you a lot. Find out if the rear end has been upgraded to a 1.8 or RX7 rear, that's a big weak link, and also ask how much boost has been run through it. Anything under 12 and it ought to be fine. B6s are cheap anyway, if it does need to be replaced. |

Yep, that it would. Should be fine then. 6 psi is nothing. |
