I need a job bad. Something involving computers! Any suggestions? I can't work at best buy or for the geek squad. (Too many idiots). I'd love to work in an office doing monotonous desk work. But the real deal is 10+ an hour. Thats all that matters. I live at home at the moment and I am just tryin to buy another car. (And be able to go out and live life and not chill at home all the time) A plea for help. If anyone has any tips, I'd love to hear it! |

WERD. All my jobs, except my first one, were through Monster. My new job, starting 5/30 [YAY!], was through Monster. When I was living at home, I updated my resume as much as possible. I think the employers have some sort of search feature that allows them to put most recently updated resumes to show up first. I can almost prove that b/c everytime I update mine, I get phone calls back to back on a daily basis. It's not hard to get a job thru Monster. The way I look at it; There's people out there who's job is to find you. LOL, it can't get any easier than that. Hope this helps, and good luck. ps; make sure you put what minimum hourly pay you'll accept (i,e: $10/hr) so that you dont' get calls from people who'll waste your time. |

I do cusomter service. Those jobs are easy to get. Just make sure you try to get into a big corp. so you have room to grow. Recommend? I dunno, what are you looking for? Something to get you by, part time, or a career? Also, whatever you've worked in before doesn't neccessarily (I HATE SPELLING THAT WORD) mean you gotta look for something related. If you're just starting out, you got time to try different things, just dont jump aroudn too much, it doesn't look good. |

i worked in 2 resturaunts, one fast food and one normal. the other one was just a Computer Support Technician... it was pretty awesome, worked there for a month, but it was just to help out. They liked me there but I called off twice one week because of some school crap and they let me go. I really liked it though, I wish I could get back into it. |

I just do it randomly. Sometimes I re word a few sentences here and there. It works. But you cant expect everyone who views your resume to call. I think I haven't even broke the 200 views mark yet. |
