Are they like hondas? Can they take a beating? I'm looking into getting a 89-91 240 for a daily driver/future project. So far the majority are around the 2k mark, with well over 100,000 miles. Im not really in a hurry persay, but Im going to wait until I get a good deal on one. I would drive the car until the motor died, and then it would become my project (widebody here I come.) My question is...how long do they last? edit: if you find one in the so-cal area, lemme know - coupe or hatch, doesnt matter what color, but must be manual |

Manual swaps are easy and cheap, don't rule out a cheap auto, they're usually less beat-on. If you're going to daily it, I suggest you think about getting an S14, much much much nicer interiors than S13 in my experience. The KA24DE is a truck engine, it'll last as long as you take proper care of it. |

idk man... they run pretty damn well. however if you're looking at getting an s13, try to get a 91 or up... it'll make your modification in the future much easier (assuming you decide to do something with it, which you damn well better) anyway, ive seen those things run in the upper 1XX,XXX range. i mean, i don't think she'll be a survivor like munster's "sophia" but as long as you catch one that was well taken care of around 115,000 mile area, you'll be fine. good luck with the search/purchase. i'll keep my eyes open for anything in so-cal |

well...I <3 the older ones...I don't think I could get a s14..i dont like um that much. PLUS, I turned to Nissan becuase eg's are WAY overpriced for what you get. I had plans of an eg slammed on work equip III's, but whats to say that thats not gonna get stolen. I need a dd so I dont have to drive the coupe. |
