I think I may have my next project

Hi all,

I am glad to say, my purchase of a black 91 Si rolling chassis is pending....

So the issue is...trasnsportation. Yea...It doesn't have a motor, and its a little far away. The car is located in Buffalo NY and I'm in Toms River NJ. That's roughly 5hrs drive.

I'm trying to find a friend or family member with a truck, but the last resort is to rent a uhaul truck and dolly for the day.

Does anyone know of any affordable, or even REASONABLE ways to transport this car to my door??? :?

Best bet would be to borrow someone's truck and get the dolly.

Yea, that would be my 1st choice.

But I just moved here, and I don't know anyone well enough to be like..."hey, lemme borrow your truck and put 1000 miles on it" :nod:

I'd rent a U-Haul if you don't have access to anyone's truck/trailer.

do it on a sunday, it will be cheaper... and get the damage waiver protection....

So far the quote on the website was the same regardless of the day of the week.

I'm going to call and inquire when I get home. Also, they only give you options for the box type trucks, I wonder if they do the pickup trucks from state to state.
