I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

rhd, stock b16, front/rear bumper moldings, sidemarker in fenders, rear tails (?), rear wing (?), seats, door panels, power windows...and i'm sure a LOT more, but these are the few things i know of.SharkAttack wrote:It looks like a civic to the naked eye. And my eye has no clothes on. What is different about that car than any other civic? Not flaming just asking?
*thing with a question mark i was unsure of, but seemed different...
say guys... are you serious about not even getting a 6g civic with stock b16? how about the 5g? I know the del sol cam with one... And I thought 92+ civics also came in a VTi (or similar) model? like with the b16a2 and b16a3 engines?
I thought only the 4g was special
And please stop bitching about how bad you guys have it with stock models... We never got the closed roof CRX, or the JDM Glass Top... Whenever we want to mod a car, we have to get parts from the states as nothing is made here... I'd have to get a helling VW or BMW... which btw are to me, what domestics are to you... so don't call those cars great
so in the end... we should all just swap houses... and we'd have all we want in cars... LOL

lol... well to answer your civic question... the only model civic that we got with a b16 were the del sol (and that was limited) and the 1999-2000 Honda Civic Si... which is basically a regular coupe with a b16 and some more suspension tuning..
and phan.. im sure his car is lighter too... since in the US you add all that environment friendly stuff and the supports are much thicker in the US a friend of mines put a JDM support in the front bumper of his crx and what a DIFFERENCE!!!

JDM / EDM don't have the stupid 5mph crash test problem... so we don't have that useless thing in there...
environmental stuff on your cars won't be too (if ANY) different than ours.. maybe JDM is a bit different, but most manufacturers have cars live up to the stricktest rules... which ever they are... but maybe that's why certain cars are only sold in japan?
but as far as any civic goes, you guys got really stiffed than... I thought it was just a 4g problem...
