yeah im also new here to this site. i remember typing in google and found this site. well im from toronto canada. damn winter is here. very cold and very hard to take my car out. oh yeah i drive a 4door 96 integra LS. im thinking of doing the DC2 conversion and maybe a JDM H22 motor. tell me what you guys think. is the motor worth it? thanks. |

Definately do the JDM front end, but im not sure on puttin an h22 in a teggy. u'll prolly snap alot of axles. my friend has an h22 in his civic with custom built axles and he still snaps them every few months i think. i would just put an ITR or GSR motor in it, but that's just me. either way lot of $$$$$ post pics and welcome to the site! |

I'd go for the H22. You just have to buy custom axles or make your own. Welcome to thejdm. |

i would stick with b-series... build a B20vtec, it will out power a H22 anyday, plus it is a lighter motor. I had a built lsvtec in my dc4 integra... the guy i sold it to dynoed 215whp. The car is strong as hell... murdered a G35, and ran toe to toe with a evo VIII |

fuck ls/vtec too many problems lol. unless u build both ends right. most ppl make the mistake of just building the top end, bad idea. i'd only build ls/vtec for track only. i say build the b20 like some other ppl r saying. |

you say b20. but thats the same results as an ls block. except the rev's wont be as high unless you sleeve it. i personally am doing the b20. i was going to ls/vtec with a 2.0stroker kit. instead im going to be using the b20 block and a gsr head unless i can find an itr head for a decent price.... im also going all motor., you looking for all motor or a boost motor? |
