I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Newbie, hope to learn alot!

Post by movezig » December 06, 2004

Yo, im new :) . I found "TheJDM" through Merrit R's site. Ive been into hondas since I got my first car (1990 Integra LS) . I knew nothing of the import scene at the time though over the past 3 years that has changed. I had fun with that car untill I decided to start building credit, now I have a 96 EJ8. I want to learn eveything I can about imports and tuning in general and it looks like this site and Honda-Tech might be the ones to guide me in the right direction. I respect Honda as a company and their outstanding racing history. Ill post pics of my ride when I find a decent image host. (anybody know of one?)

Wilkommen! The best way to learn about cars, other than working on them of course, is by studying magazines and such. Not Import Tuner and Super Street, though, instead try SCC and Turbo. That and forums are good ways to get started.

Start tinkering with stuff more and more. Refer to magazines and forums like Kotomile said. Everyone starts out somewhere. You're not going to smartass answers here. Any question is legitimate.

Stick around. Hope we can help you out. Check out http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com for your photo hosting.
