yeah, I posted here in febuary and things been moving in my life where I was focused on hella things at one point where I had to change my life and start anew.

anyhoo, just reintroducin myself to the site because the tekken zaibatsu boards aren't cutting for me anymore.

i'm finacially much better then I was (used to live in central california, visalia). Finally a a point where I need a new car.

anyhoo, this is a bad ass site and i regret not getting involved but now I have the time to do so.

well I don't have the best knowledge on cars and "anny" probably knows way more than I do. (holla to Anny & banzai & bennet the cucumber sucka)

cars I want but can't have:
lancer evo
honda s2000
toyota corolla gts/sr5

note:

evo 8 is new and wouldn't have to worry bout breaking down if I take good car of it, warranty. 4 door, etc and if I get it. Probably drive stock until I save up for power. Unrealistic for me at this point but definetaly an option. but I'm looking a 600 bucks a month + insurance.

honda s2000 is nice as fuck but 2 doors might not cut it too well for me at this moment but maybe. same problem like the evo.. 600 bucks a month + insurance will kill me. 5 years with this car wouldn't be so bad. If I plan to move, club, etc.. would be hard to do so.

toyota corolla gts/sr5, a project car. Always been into old cars lately, i'm even happy with my current vehicle.. toyota camry 1985. Anyhoo, something I can tinker with but probably not a good idea in where my point of life is headed.

Realistic Cars:

Mazda Rx7 1993-up
Subura Impreza 1999 - 2001
Mazda 6
Acura TSX

Note:

In my price range of 10k-15k if I find the right one. A 2door like the s2000 but hey I can live with payments like this for now. Pretty great resale value seeing how this car is still up there in that price range even though blue book value is around 10k-11k. Maybe something I want, if your an rx7 owner.. could ya give me a summary of your experience with this car? ups and downs and enjoyment and fullfillment of when ya first bought it to now?

Subura impreza, i'm definetaly get the RS. Any tips for buying this vehicle, i've read up a few stuff bout this car. Planning to do some more research before I go out to buy this. it's same price range or so like the rx7, plus it' s a 4 door just in case I go out. Just wondering if it's a good purchase.

Mazda 6 i, didn't look too much into this but something i wanted last year and thought about. not feeling the same way like i used to and I think the type S version is better than the i version.. right? anyhoo, not something I would mod up and probably get a AT transmission. So no fun there.

TSX, same situation with mazda 6. 30k range if i want the whole package with navigation. probably an AT also since I would probably be sharing this car since I commute to work everyday.. I'll probably end up driving my old ass camry than this car.

i know it's my opinion on what i feel but would love to hear your comments on these cars i listed. Any feedback iks good feedback!

Don't be afraid to post what's a good car to get in my situation if ya don't mind posting. What's a good choice, etc. Any comments would help me cuz i'm in the buying process.

i'm actually looking for a car that's either a 2 door for me + that one person or a 4 door to hang out and still make my car fast. Not looking to mod my car with kits or anything.. just straight up power/sleeper without sacraficing too much.. like car seats.. etc. By me saying all this.. i'm actually down to the 2 choices of either the impreza or the Rx7. A comment on Rx7 vs. impreza would help me out also...

i've decided, gonna get the 4 door impreza rs. today I was driving and next to me was a impreza rs 2 door. That car looks hella sweet, just gotta test drive it myself now.

yay man, the rs is sick but i've seen people drive it and such.

I really what the 2k1 version.

funny story at dealership man. I go to the subaru dealership in Oakland and a young dood about my age was the salesman. Cool guy, upbeat and real. I went up to him and asked him if he had an impreza rs. He said "yeah, i've got a beatiful one.. all red".

So I walk in the showroom and see that it's a 2005 2.5 RS. Not what I was looking for but not a bad ride either. I test drove and going uphill didn't really give me the power there but 4wd was nice. Handling doesn't skid like FR cars.. well I do drive an 85 camry..

Anyhoo when I got back to the dealership, the salesman was pretty quite cuz he was my age and new I didn't want the car. I was still in the buying process and wanted to test drive cars to get a broad view of what I really want.

so I walk in and talk to the manager, he tells me "you don't like the car?" then he says, "this is a nice car, what more could you want?"

I said, "a lot more and honestly i'm still in the buying process and wanna try out other cars and wanted to see if you guys have other colors"

he said, "no". and pointed to his crappy car parked outside which was maroon in color and telling me his car was red and he likes it.

I told him "well i'm not planning to buy a car today, just wanted to check out more cars that's all."

well he got pissed i'm pretty sure and the young dood was cool about it too.

well that's my dealership story for now, however i test drove the civic hybrid 2k5 but I know I can't modify that car one bit =/ it was crazy to learn that car does not have a transmission! fucking crazy, has like 94hp or something like that. I mean it's not bad for me cuz i'm commuting to work but is 40mph per gallon good?
