Here's a quick video I tossed together the other night. Its not too great, and timing is a bit off, but i was tired and did it quickly. But I was bored and felt like doing a bit of editing quick so i threw this together for the site. This all happened the day of the meet after all you guys left. It's the purple vortech cavalier with all the wireloom and junk. I was impressed for a cavalier ... but it's okay ... i made sure to throw the fourways on as soon as i noticed i was pulling (right before i hit 2nd gear hahaha) and kept em on the whole way.
I asked him to race for 5 bucks ... and asked what he ran. 14.2 @ 98 or so is what he said. He asked what i ran .... 14.4. "I heard you run 13's" "Who me? noooooo "
A few of my friends were standing with a group of his while they watched us race .... here's the conversation my friends overheard as far as i was told
some girl "why's his turn signal on?"
some kid "he must have hit his turn signal somehow"
another kid "no ... he's just trying to be a dick ... those are his fourways"
my friends ::various snickers and giggles::

after the race, he promptly handed my five bucks over and we stood around for a few minutes to talk. "your car's pretty quick man" "thanks, yours too. Pretty fast for a z24" "you still running the stock exhaust and clutch right" "yea ... i'm putting a 3" greddy exhaust on in a few days and ordering my clutch here soon" "ohhh that's good ... you should get a 'spec stage III' clutch. I have one, they're awesome" "yea i hear those 'spec stage III's ahve some great holding power" "yea they do ... it was a world of difference."

I did some research and as far as i know, spec stage III is another ebay junk product ..... which i had figured from the beginning. I'm pretty sure it's made by the same people who manufactured his wire loom.

here's the vid. enjoy

the quality is shit because i had to make it into a smaller pixel rate to send it through AOL .... maximize and it'll be kinda blurry, but better than watching it in such a small window

That's good shit. I bet if he would have taken off that 50' of purple wire loom he would have done better.

its sad to see such boners ruin cars. I mean, if he would have spent more money on the engine vs dressing it up with stupid shit, it would have been better. And those S/C kits are EXPENSIVE. I think the vortech kit is a centrifical, but I know GM sells a roots kit for 3000$. Its hard to justify that much money when you can get one with 60-80k miles on it for 5-6k. Thats why I don't want to mess with my car much, because it wont be worth anything when I go to get rid of it :P Only problem with domestics. They are cheaper when you buy them and you pretty much throw them away when you're done. I'm still thinknig about saving up for that turbo kit for my car... over 250hp/300ft lbs tq. trannies in my car like to fly out though :)

haha y heard that slut say "why is his turn signal on" and i about lost it. They skoffd at me when before the race i said the acura would have him by at least 3 cars.

domestic + no hemi = junk
