I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Put a sheet of plastic or a tarp down first. Then park on top of it. Alot of underbody rust comes from moisture in the ground. If you're going to have to get into it (since you get tons of snow too) I'd put a tarp or car cover on it so you can pull it off and not have water freezing in the door openings.

I stored my car one winter outside due to other stuff in the garage (years and years ago) and that's how I did it.

Contractor plastic. like 10mil x 100' roll that we had at work.

Your biggest thing w/ parking outside is going to be rodents. I put repellent in the engine bay and interior.
