I have a question and wasn't sure where to post. I'm hoping someone may know or can point me in the right direction. I have a 27 year old sister who has cerebral palsy and is wheel chair bound. My mom had to make a harness to hold her into the car seat, she drives an 04 accord. I was curious if anyone knows if something like a sparco or bride seat would be good for someone in her condition. She has no strength to hold herself up, she has to be strapped in and upright. She's maybe 5'2" and 70 lbs. Do they make smaller sized seats for smaller people? Are the seats adjustable? Or would she be better off just getting an after market harness?
Any help will be appreciated. It is becoming more of a hassle to transport her for my mom and I'd like to see her be able to get out of the house.
Thanks
I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Re: Seating question please help
I would think that there are medical companies that make specific products like this, I could be wrong though. An adjustable seat would probably give more flexibility in figuring out what position is more comfortable. Maybe some kind of 4-point harness too

Reading this I had a picture in my head.
This is what I was thinking:

I'm sure that insurance would pay for it. That is a necessity for her I would think.

thanks guys, Munster I checked that site out, I didn't see that one so thanks. I'll be sure to pass that on to my mom. The one I found was made by RECARO but it was too small for her. Thanks again.
