I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

as far as california is concerned, the car came out of an SUV whether its japanese counterpart was offered in a sedan or not and is therefore illegal...bastards.

They cannot seriously tell you that, if your B20 is REALLY out of a sedan (as in it didn't come out of an SUV), that it is illegal because it has a counterpart offered in an SUV, can they?

it doesn't matter where the motor came from in japan. as long as it's usdm counterpart is in the suv, it's illegal. you can smog a jdm b16 in cali granted you have all the emissions equipment hooked up (del sol shit) and convert to obd-1...if the motor passes, you'd have a "del sol" swap. if i took a sedan motor from japan, the state ref would look at b20 and find CR-V and not (for example) the japanese integra gs-X.

Hmotorsonline has great service and quick shipping like oomuskablindoo said it was crated nicely and great condition it also came with the wiring harness, distributer, flywheel, and alternater which it wasn't supposed to. And yes it does suck losing your license for 90 days

I havent had any experience with hmotorsonline, but I did get my motor from Import Auto Salvage..

The swap was super clean, came with everything, no cut hoses at all.

Just another option if you were looking for some..

I got a 2001 B18B1 With only 45k miles.
