the best honda/acura for $7000?

my one friend is going to be getting a car, but he doesnt know what to look for when buying either a honda civic(94-95 or newer) or acura integra(94 or newer), he is leaning more toward the integra than the civic

so what should he look for in either one?

I would say a CRX, but he's limiting himself to obd1+, so I recommend either an LS teg in great condition, or the elusive Del Sol VTEC.

What to look for? Inspect the axles, the undercarriage, the doojambs for welds (there shouldn't be any unless it's been wrecked), look at the oil, etc. you're pretty much looking for signs of neglect. If a car has been put on the market with bad CV boots, visible rust, etc. how well has it been cared for most likely?

he wants to boost it, thats why he doesnt want to spend too much on the car, cause after he gets it, he is just going to go crazy with buying things for it....... it makes me jealous, cause he could have everything he wants to do to the car done in a month, hes got the funds to do so..............

so his plans for now are to get the car, turbo it, do some suspension work, drivetrain work, get some wheels, and then just do some exterior work...
