I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

I don't know the full story, the short time that we went out to get gas, something happens, of course. But what they told us was it was a mechanical failure with the brakes. They wouldnt tell us too much, they said the driver had a few broken ribs and a punctured lung, but was in "okay" condition. I'm sure it was a combination of a few things that led up to the failure of the brakes, it was VERY cold, raining and sleeting, and not very sunny. The funny part is...I don't remember if any of you remember the pictures I posted from Road America last April, but the BMW M3 I was in that crashed..Was car #C20, the same number of this Corvette. I thought that was kinda interesting.

Ha. The story is, when my car hits the track in April, I hope to god he is there, because he is a fucking asshole, can't drive, obviously doesn't know too much about cars, and riced out a mint condition 1G Eclipse. He took the radiator out of the front when he installed the FMIC, and moved it to the back where the licence plate goes. Why the fuck he did this, I have no idea, and he was complaining about heat issues, I wonder why, lol. Today I rode in a Z06 Corvette because the WRX was partially put out of comission  so we couldn't race it on the track anymore after our first run. I've never liked Corvettes, untill today, holy hell that thing was fucking fast.

Another guy there with a C5 Z06 was driving right in front of us yesterday around a 90 degree left turn, going a little too fast for conditions (rain) and did more like a 180 into the wall. So he hopped in his daily driver, 2002 Subaru WRX and took it out on the track, and seized the engine. When he started to drive out to go get some food, some old man rear ended his Z06, plowing in the rear end. Talk about luck..

The two blue 2003 WRX's (Note, the STi front end'd WRX isn't an STI) we accually met when we blew our IC hoses off, because my dumbass dad didn't tighten them down enough, and we ended up talking to them the whole time, they were cool as hell. I accually recommended the one (Kelly - Guy) to thejdm, since he is a big Honda/Acura person he says, and wants to get an integra. I didn't get too many pictures from today, just 3 pics of the Z06 I rode in, and an engine bay shot of Damian's RX7 (the yellow one) engine bay. Oh, and if you want to see what the Road America track is like, here is a full lap, in-car video in Damian's RX7, with me as the passenger (white helmet).
