I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Post by Hercules » May 17, 2005

well i know i shouldnt have but i put those badboys in today with stock valve train and cam gears..haha but i couldnt get her started all day i had no idea why. cause i talked to a guy the ran them with stock everything and his ran fine with stock timing and everything and i couldnt figure it out. so i'm layin in bed pissed off thinkin bout it and thought about the valve lash, thats right i didnt touch that so its like 1am but i go outside and loosin all of those bitches and finally got it started. it runs very horrible and idles like a big hammer, my timing was screw up earlier so i'm hopin that i didnt fuck my valves up, i'm gonna run a compression tester tomorrow, hopefully that goes well. but if anyone has any idea's on how to get her running OK as far as timing or whatever i can do would be greatly appreciated... :?

i pulled an all nighter last night (friday) and swapped head's along with the 403's again and she runs perfect with stock valvetrain and i reused a headgasket, lmao. dont worry i'm orderin valvesprings on monday. then i'll have to get it tuned cuz it pretty much feels the same. i'll post some pics up here in a few days of the huge lobes :D
