i worked hard all this summer for some new parts *student/athlete/summer work*

car is paid for, and all the parts are paid for with cash

see i have paid for my car i spent like 1500k for the actual car, i have a cd player ( because i need my music ) an air filter and a act clutch and new master cylinder and the brake stuff. i saved alot of money by doing all the work myself. I was actually away from my car for almost a year. living situation, i moved back to miami i got a loan for another car i bought an 87 supra turbo 5spd, fun car , did a bit of work, then sold it. came back now im here working as a bus boy at this restuarant called black angus. i wont make that much money right off maybe after a month of working here ill make decent money, but still not even close to pay for the parts and stuff i want. I can see myself maybe finishing in like 2 or 3 years. heres my list:
1) suspension, toe ellimantor , k2rd coilovers , kyb agk shocks, front and rear strut bars, all new urethane bushings, canmber kit.
2)wheels : rs watanabe 15nch wheels black, i wish i could get some advan rg's.
3) interior: corbeuo bucket seats, brackets, and 4 point racing harness.
4)cat back , headers, and i wish 13b turbo swap.
5) a new tranny cuz mine is bad the gates are all bent out of shape.
new paint, and there are other little things.

But whats funny to me is this list is a budget list, i havent really included anything that alot of these guys have out there, and im still out in the dark as to how they do it, i have worked hard as hell, and i am still working hard as hell but it just doesnt make sense to me.

19 year olds in MKIVs...I only know a few people that are like that, and it just happens that mommy and daddy are rich. Now if you ask kids like that how they got their cars they're going to say that they paid for it. Riiiight, fucker. Shit. If my mom was buying me new Supras and I didn't have to touch a bill I would announce from the highest hill. "I'm a spoon-fed bitch, and I don't pay anything to mod my car."

A friend of mine from high school had the cash at 21 to buy a silver TT. That was all on his own. He was a programming genius who ended up selling code to some major manufacturers. Guys like him are few and far between. I'm thinking that most of them are like the kids up the street....Daddy as a Special Edition black Supra and a brand new X5. I see them driving them around all of the time. *grits teeth*

i know there are those that have dad and mom to pay for everything, but it cant be everyone and then the guys that make money like right after highschool thats pretty rare, so im still confused and frustrated up the ass.

i wouldn't want sponsers on my car unless its the top jdm dawgs... bride, endless/zeal, JIC....etc but i think sponsers ruin the look of the car because some require you to put their logo hella huge on the side of the car etc... for the most part... im planning to keep buildin up my JDM ride sponser free... the only time i would want a sponser is if they can get me a part that no one else has.... EVERYTHING about my car, but the car, was paid for out of my own pocket with money i got from my own job.... i just didnt pay for the car kuz my parents bought it for me... but the money i invested in it is well over its value hahah ... im going into my second year into college after highschool as soon as the summer time is over..im what? 19 i think haha

well i've been putting money in my car since Dec 01 when i pick up the car for $1,800...yes some people may say that my car has a lot of things done to it but for the most part its been me.....it helps me a lot that i do all the work myself i got a few things from GetsponserZ.com (rims and tires) and i'm working with them to get some other stuff.....(NX)

about stickers on the car, i dont like the way a car looks with company names all over the it but if they are going to give you parts to put on your car they want something in return.....I just put the stickers on for shows and only on the windows or cf hood (never on the paint......

it is really hard to build a car and have a life (going out) but sometimes you have to see what you enjoy more........

i won't buy anything unless i pay cash. my mailbox stays empty that way. making money keeps me unrealistically busy but it's all good.
