yeah I did notice that, but seeing as how you mazda has already annoucned plans to relase a 2006 miata with the same body, and a 2007 miata with the same exact platform but a turbo option, I dont think that is a real plan to make the car like that within the next two years.
notice the article mentions the car will be rotary in 2005, that didnt happen, and neither will that miata for the time being. I dont think the miata will ever be rotary, especially with the rx-7 in seriouse development.
