I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

I'd just hate to see this forum go. I'm a member on alot of others, but I just don't feel the need to post on them often. They just don't have the atmosphere that this place does.

Since we are going to have to pay for hosting I'm thinking of a way to do it. I have to talk to Jawn too.

I guess we'll see what happens...

i use hostrocket for import tech and jdmlifestyle... globat for another import tech backup.

globat is cheaper than hostrocket, offers more space and bandwidth. neither of those should be much of an issue with thejdm at this time, however.

on the downside, globat is a bit slower with the load-time than hostrocket.

hostrocket offers 1gig of space, and i believe 50-60gigs of rollover bandwidth. again, not an issue with thejdm at this time. i rarely experience downtime with hostrocket, and if i do, it's usually back up and running soon after. they also have a great support team, so all tickets are answered quickly.

pricing per month on hostrocket is 14.95/month. it's 9.95/month if paid for a year in advance. (also, if you're interested in switching to hostrocket, let me know and i'll get you our referral link... and then i'll be able to give some cash back to thejdm ;) )

Ok. 69 a year is a different story.

CivicRacingGirl7: Thanks for the input. That's definitely something to consider

I tried hostrocket's free service they had for a while to let people try out the hosting pay people get, and it was nice. I would recommend them if we can afford it. I dont know what the hell is up with the webhost2 site :?
