Depends on who you talk to, most of the japanese only see CNN and see the bad stuff that happens in the US so they would never want to go to the states. Also there are alot of jack asses that ruin it for others because they don't know how to conduct themselves in a proper manner. BBBBBUUUUUUTTTTTTTTT when you show the japanese that there are americans that have respect and are good people and give AMERICA a good name they love it and do want to go to the states.

American Culture in Japan: Pizza, Big Hamburgers, Ricey Cars (they like it though)... looking dumb and scared of trying raw foods
