I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

what is your take on these 3 letters?!

the slipstreams aren't as light as sw388s!!! they were probably the same once the azenis were mounted on. hahah.

also, if you look at a black slipstream next to a sw388, you'll never buy a black slipstream in you're jdm lifetime. you just can't copy a real flat black finish.

like I said....don't shoot the messenger. It's just what I heard. The whole point is that Rota does make a nice wheel. And Rota isn't the only wheel comp. that makes knock-offs. It's just I think Rota's are some of the most popular. Sorry for the miss leading info.

^^ one thing to think of though. They may be lighter, but they are not made of the same materials. So they won't hold up to the rigors that the SW388s, which are made expressly for racing. So you have to take that into consideration.

I think if you like something then buy it up. Weather or not its jdm, edm, ukdm, usdm or so on. I buy what I like not what everyone else has or tells me to buy. I do alittle research and if it what I need then I purchase it knock off or not. I have owned a password carbon fiber whale dick and the reason I got it instead of the j's racing is because I did some reading they were suposed to make more power and be better quaility. So why pay more for no reason. Just because it is made in Japan. Thats not for me. Either way I was checking out parts on ebay today and ran across this. It reminded me of this thread so I thought I would post it up. Image

^^that is awesome. As far as the Rota's. I know exactly what you are saying that is why I am waiting to get the Real Mugen RnR's instead of the Rotas. Plus I have Volks and I want to sell them. SOME ONE BUY MY VOLKS!!!! haha.
