what kit was it?
probably install error or lack of tuning. I have yet to hear of a kit for the k-series motor that failed that wasnt user related.

If you dont care about the warranty, and cant convince your parents to let you do it, and just HAVE to have it in now, just put it in or have it put it in without them knowing, they wont notice the differance if you have a quiet bov

i noticed on the first page someone told you GReddy kits are CARB legal - but the EP3 Kit is still CARB pending - which means it is possible it may never be CARB legal...

In case that matters to you.
