I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Mhmm... look up a few posts.ToByTuNeD wrote:There was an importer (Sun Racing, Phoenix something or another comes to mind) who swapped out the Rover 4s and put in the Type R engines to be US emissions-compliant. I don't recall ever seeing a from-the-factory Honda powered Elise.
That's why this is stupid.
Edit: Sun International
Loyal readers will remember our last test of the Sun International Elise from the June '01 issue. In that test, the car was in an early configuration without all the go-fast goodies fitted this time. Sun International founder Tom Cahalane brought out the big guns.

Well yes because of the upgraded brakes, suspension, and wheel upgrades...JDMJedi wrote:no it wasn't a factory car. It was some tuning shop. Because they mentioned the fact that the standard elise with the 2ZZ motor wouldn't stand a chance. This car also had brakes, suspension, and wheel upgrandes.

How are you doing today?
